Five St. Clair County Community College (SC4) softball players have earned postseason honors from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA), showcasing both individual standout performances and the program's continued upward trajectory.

Freshman sensation Katie Rusher led the way with an impressive trifecta of accolades: All-MCCAA recognition, a First Team All-Eastern Conference selection, and a spot on the Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team. Her standout debut season has quickly made her a player to watch in the conference.

Jenna Maday also earned well-deserved recognition, securing a spot on the Second Team All-Eastern Conference for her consistent contributions on the field.

Adding to the depth of the honors, Makayla Hennessey, Lillian Schneider, and Annabelle Schneider each received Eastern Conference Honorable Mention nods, reflecting the strong all-around talent within the SC4 roster.

Head coach Courtney LaBuhn praised the players for their dedication and impact on the team's success. "Each of these student-athletes played a critical role in our success this season, and it's great to see their hard work and dedication recognized by the conference," LaBuhn said.

These awards not only celebrate individual excellence but also highlight the growing strength and depth of the SC4 softball program, signaling an exciting future for Skipper softball.
