Five Peoria Christian seniors took a major step toward their athletic futures on Tuesday, celebrated at a signing ceremony that showcased the school's growing talent pipeline.

Headlining the group is Daisy Shouse, who made history as the school's first Division I competitive cheerleader. She'll take her talents to the University of Kentucky, a powerhouse in the cheer world, on a DI scholarship. "I'm super excited to cheer at games, of course," Shouse said. "Hopefully I'll compete with them. And be a part of that family and legacy."

The ceremony also honored a diverse group of athletes. Soccer standout Colson Below will bring his game to the University of Missouri-St. Louis, while multi-sport star Trae Brickner is set to join the track program at Cedarville University. Mia Brinson will spike her way to St. Ambrose University for volleyball, and Drew Gama will tee off for St. Thomas University in Miami as a golfer.

This quintet represents the next wave of competitors ready to make their mark at the collegiate level, proving that Peoria Christian is a breeding ground for both athletic excellence and bright futures.
