Here's an early look at the Patriots' full roster, following the 2026 NFL Draft.

The New England Patriots have officially begun the long and grueling journey of assembling their 90-man roster—a squad that will eventually need to be trimmed down to 53 players before the 2026 season kicks off. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and the front office has been busy every step of the way.

Throughout this offseason, the Patriots have been hard at work: signing a fresh wave of free agents, bringing in a promising new draft class, and scouring the undrafted rookie free agent market for hidden gems. Over the next few weeks, we'll be breaking down the current roster position by position, offering predictions on who stays and who goes. But for now, let's take a first look at the full roster as it stands today.

Quarterback
There are some legitimate questions surrounding the Patriots' decision to draft Behren Morton in the seventh round. With undrafted rookie free agents readily available, some wonder if they could have simply picked up a developmental arm to stash behind Drake Maye and Tommy DeVito. Still, the move makes sense in context: after cutting Joshua Dobbs this offseason, the Patriots needed another quarterback in the room.

Running Back & Fullback
For all the talk about a crowded wide receiver room, the Patriots are just as stacked at running back. Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson are clearly the top two options, but things get interesting further down the depth chart. Rookie Jam Miller joins the mix alongside Terrell Jennings and Lan Larison—who turned heads during last year's training camp and preseason. At fullback, the Patriots landed one of the league's best in Reggie Gilliam.

Wide Receiver
The Patriots will face some tough decisions at wide receiver, especially with the potential trade for A.J. Brown, which could go down on or after June 1. If that deal goes through, this receiving corps could become the most explosive New England has seen in years.

Tight End
Hunter Henry remains one of the most reliable pass-catchers on the roster, but at 31 years old, he's closer to the finish line than the starting blocks. With Austin Hooper departing in free agency, the Patriots used a third-round pick on arguably the most talented tight end in this year's draft class—a clear signal that they're thinking about the future at the position.
