Following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft, the full Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns' Travis Hunter trade from 2025 is now complete.
In that deal, the Jaguars traded the fifth overall pick in the 2025 draft, along with picks 36, 126, and their 2026 first-round pick, which ended up being 24th overall, to Cleveland.
The Browns, meanwhile, would give Jacksonville the second overall pick in 2025, along with picks 104 and 200 in that same draft.
Hunter's rookie season was, unfortunately, cut short due to a knee injury. On defense, he allowed nine completions on 15 targets at just 10.7 yards per catch. He also had two pass breakups and two penalties, according to PFF. At wide receiver, he caught 28 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown.
Hunter appears to be in line for a much larger role at cornerback in 2026, while still seeing snaps on offense as well.
Tuten filled a rotational role at running back as a rookie and was a return man on kickoffs as well. He, along with Chris Rodriguez, will shoulder the workload out of the backfield this season.
Lane was a core special teams contributor and was particularly good on the punt coverage team. He has the opportunity to move up the defensive depth chart at safety this season.
We still do not have that answer, and we won't know until we see more of Travis Hunter. Ultimately, his play will determine who the winner of this deal is.
