Indiana Fever fans can breathe a sigh of relief: Caitlin Clark's latest injury scare appears to be nothing more than a fashion statement.

The superstar guard was spotted sporting a leg sleeve during practice on Monday, just days after an awkward fall forced her to exit a preseason game early. The sight of the compression gear naturally raised eyebrows, but Fever head coach Stephanie White was quick to downplay any concerns.

"It's a style thing," White said, via the Indianapolis Star's Chloe Peterson. "It looks good on her, doesn't it?"

The incident occurred during the Fever's preseason loss to the Dallas Wings, when Clark went down hard and drilled her left knee cap. She managed to stay in the game long enough to shoot her free throws after a flagrant foul was called, but she was pulled shortly after and didn't return. She also sat out the second half of Saturday's preseason finale—though with the Fever cruising to a 105-57 blowout win over the Nigerian national team, her absence was hardly a concern.

Clark's health is always a top priority, especially given her injury-plagued sophomore season. The former Iowa star and Rookie of the Year appeared in just 13 games last year due to a groin strain and ankle injury, yet she still averaged an impressive 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5 rebounds per game. Her limited presence didn't stop the Fever from winning the WNBA Commissioner's Cup and reaching the playoff semifinals.

Fortunately, the timing of this latest scare couldn't be better. The Fever have a full week off before their season opener against the Wings on Saturday afternoon, giving Clark plenty of time to rest and recover if needed. While the leg sleeve might spark some questions, all signs point to her being ready to go for the start of her third WNBA season.
