Oxford make two new appointments to the club's board as well as a new club chairman who takes over from Grant Ferguson.

Oxford United have kicked off a new chapter with a major boardroom reshuffle, welcoming two fresh faces to the leadership team while saying goodbye to chairman Grant Ferguson—at least in his top role.

Taking the reins as the new club chairman is Dusan Bogdanovic, a football agent with deep ties to Indonesian football. He's joined by Rudi Laksmana, a former Inter Milan board member, as the club looks to strengthen its strategic direction both on and off the pitch.

Ferguson, who has served as chairman for four years, isn't heading for the exit entirely. He'll remain at the club in a reduced capacity as a director, ensuring some continuity as the new leadership settles in.

The club has framed these changes as part of an "ongoing commitment to driving football performance, improving strategic direction, and progression both on and off the pitch." The restructured leadership group now includes Anindya Bakrie, Grant Ferguson, Rudi Laksmana, Dusan Bogdanovic, and Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth.

Oxford are owned by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, who increased his controlling stake in the club last November. Thohir originally completed a takeover in 2022, leading a group that held a controlling 51% stake.

The reshuffle comes at a pivotal time for the club. Last season, Oxford were relegated from the Championship after two seasons in the second tier, finishing 22nd in the table—four points adrift of safety. With new leadership in place, the focus now shifts to rebuilding and pushing for a return to the Championship.
