We are diving into some fantasy football content this offseason as we look to bring in all sorts of football fans to Vikings Wire. It is arguably the most popular game that is around football, so not dipping our toes into the proverbial pool wouldn't make sense.
What we will start with is some rookie profiles, and where they fit into the landscape of the team they were drafted by. Next up, Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price.
Price got the seal of approval from the Seahawks when they made him their top draft pick coming off the Super Bowl. After losing Kenneth Walker Jr. in free agency, they need a suitable replacement and they seem to have found one in Price. But where do things sit in terms of his fantasy potential? Let's dive into that.
Whenever a running back is seen as a first-round pick, and then he is drafted as one, that is the ultimate boost to his fantasy potential. Now, when you add them to a well-rounded offense like the Seahawks have, the sky can be the limit. But make no mistake about it, John Schneider drafted Price to be a bellcow, and now we have to see if the actions back up the capital.
With Jadarian Price sneaking into Round 1, he has a chance to become the bellcow in the Seahawks' backfield. Pair that with Zach Charbonnet coming off his knee injury, and he will have every chance to step up and become the guy for Seattle. Price, on top of being used in the offense, will also have a chance to return kicks and make an impact in that front. Bottom line is he is a very intriguing RB2 for the 2026 season at this point in the process.
