Can't make it to Gainesville for the big game? No worries—we've got you covered with everything you need to know to catch Florida A&M softball's NCAA Tournament showdown against the Florida Gators.

The Rattlers (32-20) are set to take on the No. 6 seed Gators (48-10) in the Gainesville Regional on Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m. ET. The action unfolds at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium on the University of Florida campus, and it's a matchup that carries plenty of weight for FAMU.

This marks the Rattlers' first national tournament appearance since 2017—when they also faced Florida—and fans can watch every pitch live on the Southeastern Conference Network via the ESPN app. The double-elimination regional also features Georgia Tech (30-27) and Texas State (38-20), with games continuing Saturday, May 16, and the championship on Sunday, May 17. The winner advances to the Super Regional for a shot at the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.

FAMU earned their spot by claiming the SWAC tournament title on May 8—their first conference softball championship—beating Southern to secure the automatic bid. Leading the charge are SWAC Player of the Year Amari Brown (a versatile pitcher, shortstop, and utility star), All-SWAC ace Zoryana Hughes, and tournament MVP Samantha Smith, also a pitcher and utility player.

They'll face a formidable Florida squad headlined by All-SEC first-teamers Jocelyn Erickson (catcher/first baseman), pitcher Keagan Rothrock, and outfielders Taylor Shumaker and Townsen Thomas. It's a classic David vs. Goliath story, but the Rattlers have the talent and momentum to make some noise.

Whether you're cheering from the stands or your living room, this is a must-watch for any softball fan—and a perfect excuse to sport your favorite FAMU gear.
