The Atlanta Falcons are bringing back a familiar face to bolster their secondary. On Thursday, the team announced the signing of cornerback Darren Hall to their 90-man roster, marking a return to the franchise that originally drafted him.

Hall, a fourth-round pick by the Falcons in 2021, showed early promise during his first two seasons in Atlanta. Over 31 games with 10 starts, he proved to be a reliable contributor before being waived ahead of the 2023 season. His journey since then has been a testament to resilience—spending most of that year on the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad before carving out a role with the Arizona Cardinals over the last two seasons, where he appeared in 17 games.

Through his NFL career, Hall has compiled 94 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery—a solid stat line for a player looking to reignite his development in familiar territory.

To make room on the roster, the Falcons waived safety Tysheem Johnson in a corresponding move. As the team continues to shape its defensive depth, Hall's return adds experience and a known commodity to the cornerback room—a savvy move for Atlanta as they prepare for the upcoming season.
