Led by standout player Jacob Faidell, the Clippers delivered a commanding 4-1 win over Monomoy, showcasing the depth and precision that has defined their campaign.
Faidell was unstoppable at second singles, blanking Ethan Seufert with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 performance—a testament to his focus and skill on the court. Teammate Quinton Hefferan matched that intensity at third singles, also sweeping Ben Chao 6-0, 6-0. The doubles teams were equally impressive, with Jack Beardsley and Fofi Verslycke taking first doubles 6-1, 6-3, while Miles Chase and Henry Daigle secured second doubles with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
Monomoy's Roman Pavluchenko put up a fight at first singles, edging Brady Keyser 7-5, 6-3, but it wasn't enough to derail the Clippers' momentum. The Mariners (8-1) rode strong performances from Luke Okoshi and Genie Chang, who both won in straight sets at second and third singles, respectively. The doubles team of Matt Kellog and Nait Gartner also impressed, cruising to a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
In girls tennis action, Martha's Vineyard swept Sandwich 5-0, notching their third straight win and improving to 7-2. Nauset also extended their streak to three games, topping Scituate 5-1 behind standout wins from Finley Williams, Lilah Baer, Emma Levya, and Tiffany Gomez.
On the lacrosse field, Falmouth's boys edged Nantucket 9-7 in a clash of top-tier teams. Travis Smith was a force at the faceoff X, winning 16 draws and adding a goal and three assists, while Jackson Smith tallied three goals for the Clippers (12-2). Bourne remained undefeated at 11-0, crushing Seekonk 17-3 behind Charlie Seitz's three goals and five assists and Jack Balfour's five-goal, two-assist outburst.
