While he flashed some of his old magic in a strong Week 2 performance against the Dallas Cowboys, inconsistency plagued his game. In six appearances, he threw for 831 yards and three touchdowns—a far cry from the elite production that made him a future Hall of Fame candidate during his prime with the Seattle Seahawks.

Now, Wilson has a chance to stay in the Big Apple, but this time in a different shade of green. After meeting with the Jets at their facility last week, he's considering a reunion with former teammate Geno Smith. The two shared a locker room in Seattle back in the day, and the Jets are looking to add experienced depth behind Smith.

"It was great," Wilson said of the visit. "They offered me, and I'm trying to figure out what the next best thing is for me to do. I still know I can play ball at a high level, but also I have an opportunity to do TV, so we'll see what happens."
