Tommy Doman, a punter from Orchard Lake St. Mary's who began his collegiate career at Michigan, was taken in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.

Doman, 23, played the 2025 season at the University of Florida, appearing in all 12 games and kicking 50 punts, with a long of 71 yards and 17 finishing inside the 20-yard line. He earned a spot on the all-SEC team from Pro Football Focus.

Doman spent four years at Michigan, from 2021-24, earning all-Big Ten recognition in 2024. In high school, he also kicked field goals and had the two longest field goals in Orchard Lake St. Mary's history, a 53-yarder as a senior and a 50-yarder as a sophomore.

Doman was one of two Michigan transfers from the 2023 national-championship team who were taken on the last day of the NFL Draft on Saturday. Tight end Matthew Hibner, who mostly played on special teams at Michigan and who finished his career at SMU, was taken in the fourth round (133rd overall) by the Baltimore Ravens.
