Tim Patrick, who played for the Broncos from 2017-2023, has joined the Jets ahead of his 10th season in the NFL.

After a journey that's taken him from undrafted rookie to seasoned veteran, Tim Patrick is gearing up for his 10th NFL season—this time with the New York Jets.

The 32-year-old wide receiver has agreed to terms with the Jets, marking his fourth team in as many years and his sixth overall in the league. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, Patrick brings a big-bodied presence to New York's receiving corps.

Patrick's path to the NFL wasn't a straight line. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Utah with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017. After being cut by Baltimore and a brief preseason stint with the San Francisco 49ers, he found a home on the Denver Broncos' practice squad in October of his rookie year.

It was in Denver where Patrick truly made his mark. After two years as a rotational player, he emerged as a starter from 2020 to 2021, hauling in 104 catches for 1,475 yards and 11 touchdowns across 31 games. Those numbers put him on the map as a reliable target.

But football can be cruel. Patrick missed the entire 2022 and 2023 seasons due to ACL and Achilles injuries—a devastating setback for any player. When he finally recovered in 2024, the Broncos attempted to trade him but found no takers, eventually releasing him. He landed with the Detroit Lions for one season before spending last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he recorded 15 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

Now, as he joins the Jets, Patrick carries a career résumé of 191 catches, 2,590 yards, and 18 touchdowns. For a player who's battled back from multiple serious injuries, this next chapter is a testament to his resilience—and a reminder that in the NFL, the story isn't over until you say it is.
