The Seattle Seahawks are entering the 2026 NFL Draft with a league-low four picks in the draft. They own their own first, second, and third round picks, with just one pick on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.

It's well known that the Seahawks are looking to trade down, and with the No. 32 pick in Round 1, the chance to trade down is likely to be available for the Seahawks.

However, ESPN insider Dan Graziano "wouldn't be shocked" if the Seahawks stuck and picked at 32nd overall, selecting the other Notre Dame running back other than Jeremiyah Love, taking Jadarian Price inside the first round.

"I wouldn't be shocked to see the Super Bowl champion Seahawks select the other Notre Dame running back, Jadarian Price, with the No. 32 pick," Graziano writes.

Seattle drafting Price with the 32nd pick would surely draw some detractors, as the team's best move at this selection would be to move down the board into Round 2 while picking up more capital on Day 3.

Sticking at 32nd overall to take a running back would not be a popular selection. Price was the backup running back at Notre Dame, and he was a productive player, though not as much as Love was for the Fighting Irish.

Even though Price was solid this past season for Notre Dame, rushing for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns on 113 carries, along with 87 yards receiving and two touchdowns on six catches, he's more of a Round 2 than a Round 1 option.

Seattle would be better off trading the 32nd pick to a team eyeing someone like Ty Simpson or some other falling player.

While the Seahawks do need a running back, it's not a position the team should invest so much into when they will get Zach Charbonnet back for the second half of the season, and could take a player in the mid-rounds who could be a decent fill-in option.

Graziano wouldn't be shocked if Price was the pick at No. 32 overall, but if such a future came to pass for Seattle, it would be a big mistake from John Schneider in the first draft after winning the Super Bowl.
