High school sports fans in Cincinnati have spoken, and the latest Athletes of the Week have been crowned. In a reader vote that closed on May 15, Cincinnati.com selected the standout performers from prep sports action through May 10, presented by The Enquirer and Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

From the wrestling mat to the basketball court, this week's winners represent the best of Greater Cincinnati athletics. Easton Ballinger of Eastwood kicked things off with a wrestling honor for March 6, while Knox Mills of Hamilton dominated as basketball player of the week on Jan. 23. Team efforts also shined, with the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place boys basketball team earning recognition for Feb. 13, and Norwood's boys squad taking the honors for Dec. 26.

Winter sports continued to impress as Maddie Turner of Norwood claimed wrestler of the week for Jan. 9, sharing the spotlight with her school's boys wrestling team, which took home winter team of the week honors that same week. In the pool, Grayson Ozias of Ross made waves as swimmer/diver of the week for Feb. 6, while Kian Bronner of Loveland struck gold as bowler of the week on that same date.

Small-school basketball saw Logan Cole of Felicity-Franklin earn Ohio boys player of the week for Feb. 6, and Bryton Vaughn of Talawanda rolled to victory as boys bowler of the week. Stacia Simmons of Clark Montessori rounded out the honors with her wrestler of the week win.
