England have shaken up their Test squad for the upcoming series against New Zealand, ending Ollie Robinson's two-year international exile and handing first call-ups to three exciting uncapped talents. The 32-year-old Sussex seamer, who last played for England in 2024, returns to lead a pace attack in transition following the retirements of Stuart Broad, James Anderson, and Chris Woakes.

Robinson boasts an outstanding Test record—76 wickets at an average under 23 from 20 matches—and was once viewed as the natural successor to Anderson and Broad with the new ball. However, fitness concerns, including recurring back injuries in his final two Tests against Australia and India, saw him dropped after the 2024 tour of India. Now, he's back in the frame as England look to rebuild their bowling arsenal.

Joining Robinson are three uncapped players: opener Emilio Gay, wicketkeeper-batter James Rew, and fast bowler Sonny Baker.
