Bryce Elder pitched scoreless ball into the sixth inning, three Atlanta players homered and the Braves won another series with a 6-3 victory over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday night. Ozzie Albies, Austin Riley and Matt Olson went deep for the first-place Braves, who took two of three from Miami for their fifth series win.

Bryce Elder continued his stunning early-season form, delivering another dominant performance on the mound as the Atlanta Braves powered past the Miami Marlins 6-3 Wednesday night. The victory secured yet another series win for the National League East leaders, who took two of three games from their division rivals.

Elder, who entered the season with questions surrounding his role in the rotation, silenced any doubters by extending his scoreless innings streak into the sixth. He masterfully limited the Marlins to just four hits over 5.2 innings, striking out seven and lowering his remarkable ERA to a microscopic 0.77 through four starts.

The Braves' offense provided ample support, showcasing their signature power. Ozzie Albies ignited the scoring with a solo homer in the fourth inning, his fourth of the year. After a sluggish start to the season, Austin Riley broke through with his first home run, a solo shot in the sixth. Matt Olson then put the game out of reach in the seventh, crushing a two-run blast to cap the homer trio and solidify the Braves' commanding lead.

Miami attempted a late rally in the eighth, with Liam Hicks launching a two-run homer to break up the shutout. However, the Braves' bullpen shut the door, with Raisel Iglesias striking out the side in the ninth to lock down his fourth save of the campaign.

With this series win, the Braves continue to set the pace in the division. After a day off, they head to Philadelphia for a pivotal three-game weekend series against the Phillies, looking to carry their momentum on the road.
