Wolves boss Rob Edwards has been speaking to the media before Sunday's Premier League game against Fulham at Molineux Stadium (kick-off 15:00 BST). Goalkeeper Jose Sa is available, while Hugo Bueno and captain Ladislav Krejci are also in contention after training on Friday. Rob Edwards is gearing up for a crucial Premier League clash as Wolves prepare to host Fulham at Molineux Stadium this Sunday (kick-off 15:00 BST). With the season winding down, the Wolves boss addressed the media to share updates on team fitness, recent fan engagement, and the challenges ahead.

In positive injury news, goalkeeper Jose Sa is available for selection, while Hugo Bueno and captain Ladislav Krejci both returned to training on Friday and are in contention to feature. Edwards acknowledged a few players are carrying "a couple of knocks," but brushed it off as "normal for this stage of the season."

Reflecting on the midweek fans forum, Edwards was candid about the mixed emotions in the room. "It was never going to be all sunshine and roses," he admitted. "A lot of people are hurting, and that's completely understandable—we are as well. It was valuable to hear the supporters' points of view and to communicate ours too." He noted the "good faith" he took from fans who approached him afterward, offering support and expressing hope that the current squad can turn things around. "We're going to work really hard now to build a team, a squad, and a better club for the future," he added.

Edwards didn't shy away from addressing the team's recent struggles, particularly the disappointing start in the Brighton defeat. "I was frustrated with the first five minutes," he said. "You can't start a game like that. It was a lack of focus and making the wrong decisions—you can't afford that against anyone at this level." With just two games remaining, the message is clear: "We will chuck everything at it to win. We don't want to finish bottom of the league, so that's something to aim for."

Looking ahead to the summer, Edwards promised significant changes. "There's going to be a lot of change—a fresh look with people who want to be here and have a real hunger from day one," he explained. "We want to make sure we are aggressive so we can get to work straight away." He added that it would be "fantastic" to have new players in for the first week of pre-season.

As for Sunday's opponents, Edwards gave Fulham their due respect: "They are a good footballing team. They have a nice way of going about things." With the season's end in sight, Wolves will be looking to channel that aggression and focus into a strong finish at home.
