Crystal Palace's attacking options have taken another significant hit, with manager Oliver Glasner confirming that striker Eddie Nketiah will miss the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign due to a recurring hamstring injury. This latest setback caps a deeply frustrating first full season at Selhurst Park for the former Arsenal man, whose time in south London has been plagued by fitness issues.

The 26-year-old sustained the injury—his fourth hamstring problem of the season—during a recent training session, dashing hopes of an April return. His last appearance for the Eagles was in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur back on December 28th, meaning he has now been sidelined for a staggering 30 matches this campaign.

Despite the persistent interruptions, Nketiah showed flashes of his potential, managing four goals and one assist across 19 appearances in all competitions. His absence leaves a notable gap in Glasner's frontline as Palace navigate the final stretch of the season.

Looking ahead, the club's focus is squarely on rehabilitation. Glasner stressed that the immediate priority is not a rushed return, but ensuring Nketiah recovers fully and is ready for a crucial pre-season. With a contract running until 2029, Palace will be desperate to see their investment on the pitch, building the consistent training and match rhythm the manager says he will need to finally put these injury woes behind him.
