Adam Schefter Reveals Likely Trade Price For Patriots-A.J. Brown Deal – NESNAfter publishing his story, Schefter offered additional insight during an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.” “My guess is (the trade) will involve a future (first-round pick) at some point in time,” Schefter said. “I don’t know that it’ll be 2027 or 2028. The two sides still have to figure that out and see where they wind up. But I think the Eagles had been looking for a first-round pick, at least, for A.J. Brown. … So, my guess is that trade will include a first-round pick in the end when the two sides wind up agreeing to whatever deal they come up with.” Schefter added: “There’s not another team out there that I can see other than New England where A.J. Brown’s gonna wind up.”

Brown to the New England Patriots in June is likely, he followed it up by indicating that that’s not the only trade the Philadelphia Eagles are cooking up. It sounds like the Birds might be looking to acquire a veteran player during the 2026 NFL Draft.

Eagles 7-round mock draft: Predicting a first-round trade for Howie Roseman to add offensive firepower in NFL Draft – PHLYRound 1, Pick 19: TE Kenyon Sadiq — Oregon. Eagles trade picks No. 23 and 98 to the Carolina Panthers for pick No. 19. With a broad consensus that this year’s draft class lacks the typical volume of first-round caliber players and Howie Roseman’s tendency to be aggressive pursuing players with those grades, it’s easy to see the Eagles trying to trade up or down from the 23rd pick on Thursday. Determing who a potential move up would be for is slightly more difficult. This type of move could have just as easily been for one of the offensive line prospects who are projected just out of reach for the team. Our draft expert Fran Duffy had the Eagles moving up three spots to take Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling last week, and Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor or a falling Spencer Fano could also be worthwhile targets with a move like this. In this exercise, though, it’s for one of the best pass catchers in the draft and a player who can help usher in Sean Mannion’s system, which will be predicated on having multiple tight ends who can hold up in the run game in addition to being dynamic with the ball in their hands. Sadiq’s highlights mostly revolve around difficult catches and explosive runs into the open field, but he’s also flashed plenty as a blocker despite being slightly undersized for the position at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds.
NFL Draft’s 4 biggest boom or bust prospects in 2026 – SB NationKenyon Sadiq, TE — Oregon. There is no doubt that Sadiq is going to be the first tight end off the board in 2026 due to his incredible physical traits and solid red zone production in 2025 for the Ducks. That doesn’t mean he’s a safe prospect. Sadiq is essentially a one-trick pony, but it’s a hell of a trick. An incredible receiver, he can run the entire route tree and has breakaway speed to easily elude linebackers, and a handful of defensive backs as well — where his strength can become a difference maker. The problem: Size. At 6’3” he’s a smaller-than-average tight end, with a lot of defensive backs getting bigger in the NFL — putting him on parity at a position that traditionally leans on size mismatches. Sadiq is also a non-factor as a blocker, limiting him very specifically to a receiver role. Being a receiver-only is okay, as this was largely what led to Colston Loveland being a top pick in 2025 — but he had an extra three inches of height. There’s a precedent for a receiving tight end of Sadiq’s size and skillset: Vernon Davis. There is a similar top-end ability here to become a serious difference maker in the NFL and a primary threat. However, if any of this falls apart, his floor is Dalton Kindaid — who is a perfectly fine receiving tighr end, but not worthy of a Top 15 pick.
Philadelphia Eagles 2026 NFL Draft board – PhillyVoiceKeldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn: Faulk had a breakout season for Auburn as a sophomore in 2024, with 45 tackles (11 for loss) and 7 sacks. He is a very good run defender, with great length at 6’6, 274, and a tough, physical play style. He is a power rusher from the edge, who can also slide inside on obvious passing downs. The Eagles have a pair of smaller speed guys in Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt. They could use a bigger edge with some iDL versatility to give Vic Fangio opportunities for different looks along the D-line.
Eagles Mock Draft 2.0 – Iggles Blitz1 – 23 – OT Max Iheanachor – Arizona State – 6-5, 321. Shocking, huh? I know most mock drafts have this pick. I’m guessing that both Monroe Freeling and Kadyn Proctor will be off the board. Iheanachor has a higher ceiling than Caleb Lomu or Blake Miller. Iheanachor could come in and work at RG as a rookie or they could have him focus on RT to get ready for the future. He is a terrific prospect. He’s got good size and length. He ran 4.91 at the Combine, with a 10 split of 1.74. That’s excellent for a big man. Iheanachor has good feet and is a good pass protector. He faced some elite pass rushers in the Big 12 and more than held his own. He shows a real nasty streak, wanting to bury defenders when he’s got the chance. Iheanachor had a strong season. He followed that with impressive showings at both the Senior Bowl and Combine. He’s checked all the boxes and would be an outstanding heir apparent to Lane Johnson.

Lane Johnson is nearing the end of a spectacular run at right tackle. Freeling is a work in progress, but his talent and tools would shine in the Eagles’ developmental system.
Roob changes up Eagles pick in his final 2026 mock draft – NBCSPEagles: Blake Miller, OT, Clemson: The Eagles have injury questions surrounding 60 percent of their offensive line with Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens and Lane Johnson, and Miller becomes the heir apparent at right tackle that the Eagles have been hoping to find for a few years now. Miller might be closest to a sure thing among all the offensive tackles in this draft. A definite high-floor guy based on his experience, his refined technique and his versatility to swing inside and play guard if needed, which just could be where he starts out. Miller is just a solid, prospect who started four years at Clemson and made 1st-team all-ACC three times. As close to a finished product as there is among all the o-linemen in this draft. For all the talk about how much Howie Roseman loves drafting offensive linemen in the first round, he hasn’t taken any since Andre Dillard seven years ago, and he hasn’t even taken any offensive players in the first round since DeVonta Smith in 2021. If Miller is on the board, he makes too much sense for Roseman to pass up.
NFL Draft Day Predictor 2026: Forecasting picks, trades, more – ESPNCan the Eagles find A.J. Brown’s replacement at No. 23? In light of Monday’s news from Adam Schefter that Brown will likely be traded to the Patriots after June 1, the Eagles’ first-round pick (No. 23) could easily be used on a wide receiver. But who will be available? The good news, according to the Draft Day Predictor, is that there is a 96% chance that at least one of Omar Cooper Jr. (Indiana), KC Concepcion (Texas A&M) or Denzel Boston (Washington) is on the board at that point. In fact, that’s so likely that the Eagles could probably afford to trade back and land one of those receivers. There is a 60% chance that at least one of them is available at No. 32. That said, the Eagles would likely have to trade up if they want one of the higher-ranked wide receivers — Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) or Makai Lemon (USC).

They need to surround Jayden Daniels with more talent on the outside, and here they take the biggest-swing of this mock draft thus far by selecting Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson. Tyson held a private workout less than one week before the NFL Draft in front of over half of the league, in hopes to negate any outside opinions on his injury status/history (hamstring). NY Giants 2026 Draft: Is WR Jordyn Tyson worth the risk with No. 5 pick? – Big Blue ViewThe 2026 NFL Draft scuttlebutt is that the New York Giants love wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, perhaps even enough to select the talented, but injury-plagued wide receiver with the No. 5 overall pick on Thursday night. Tyson is, talent-wise, the best receiver in the draft class, according to most analysts. He has a lengthy injury history, though, including a major 2022 knee injury (ACL/MCL/PCL), a 2024 broken collarbone, and a 2025 hamstring issue. Due to his injuries, Tyson did not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine or at Arizona State’s Pro Day. He finally held a private workout last Friday that Giants GM Joe Schoen attended. ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel was told Tyson was impressive.

Weathering the early storm behind another solid effort from Dan Vladar, Philadelphia opened up a 2-0 lead, including one of the best efforts of the season from Owen Tippett short-handed. It would end there, and Porter Martone has his second game-winning goal in his two playoff games.
