Florida football was expected to represent well at the 2026 NFL Draft with nine players invited to the combine back in March. The Gators made it by producing a selection in each round for the first time in program history.

For the Orange and Blue, several prospects enter the draft as multiple-year starters at the collegiate level; a few rose through posting impressive marks during pre-draft evaluations. Each heard their names called at some points during the three-day event, with defensive tackle Caleb Banks — who was selected No. 18 overall by the Minnesota Vikings — leading the way.

The first three picks from Florida were players from along the front: offensive linemen Jake Slaughter and Austin Barber followed Banks off the board. The trio's selections reflect how front offices are prioritizing roster construction. Versatility, positional value and scheme fit fuel decision-making as teams look for an edge.

Selected by Minnesota Vikings | Pick No. 18Analysis: Banks' athleticism and scheme versatility theoretically make him a strong fit in Brian Flores' defense. However, given his injury history and inconsistency. Many saw this as an unnecessary reach.

Selected by Los Angeles Chargers | Pick No. 63Analysis: Slaughter's football IQ and All-American status make him a viable plug-and-play selection. It's a high-floor pick for the Chargers who need stability at the position.

Selected by Cleveland Browns | Pick No. 86Analysis: Cleveland's draft class has garnered praise from across the league. A versatile, high-upside pick like Barber who has starter potential follows the Browns theme.

Selected by Dallas Cowboys | Pick No. 114Analysis: Given his combination of length and speed, Moore selection is a strong value choice for Day 3. The 6-foot-3-inch, 198-pound defensive back carries an ideal athletic profile into the league. Questions around Moore's durability are warranted — he'll need to shake to find success in Dallas.

Selected by Indianapolis Colts | Pick No. 156Analysis: Gumbs Jr. flashed a rare fusion of power and agility. However, the Chicago native lacks technical polish. For this stage of the draft, his developmental upside offers legitimate offseason.

Selected by Green Bay Packers | Pick No. 216Analysis: If Smack wins the role, this could be a high-value pick; however, if he doesn't make the Packers' roster, it won't be a disaster.

Analysis: A typical late-round specialist selection, Doman's hang-time may give him a chance to contend for a roster spot.
