After making two trades and six selections on the first two days and three rounds of the 2026 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins entered Day 3 with seven more selections to make.
With pick No. 130 in the fourth round, which Miami got in the Jaylen Waddle trade, the Dolphins took Texas EDGE Trey Moore.
Moore, 22, was a zero-star recruit out of Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas, before splitting his college career between UTSA (2021-23) and Texas (2024-25).
In 57 games over five seasons between the two schools, Moore recorded 175 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 13 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and one interception.
Moore won the AAC Defensive Player of the Year Award in his final season at UTSA after leading the conference in sacks with 14.
