The Miami Dolphins started Day 3 of the 2026 NFL draft by taking Texas defensive end Trey Moore and Pittsburgh linebacker Kyle Louis in the fourth round.
While they were expected to make their next pick at No. 151, the Dolphins agreed to a trade with the Carolina Panthers. In the deal, Miami sent picks Nos. 151 (fifth) and 227 (seventh) to Carolina for Nos. 158 (fifth) and 200 (sixth).
Miami moves up 27 picks from the seventh round to the sixth while only dropping seven spots in the fifth round.
