Jones, 28, originally joined the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss in 2020, where he played from 2016 to 2019. After two seasons in Miami, he finished his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions before returning to South Florida for the past two years. During his two stints with the Dolphins, Jones appeared in 37 games, recording 41 tackles (seven for a loss), four quarterback hits, one sack, and one pass defensed. His 2025 campaign was cut short due to a season-ending back injury, but the Raiders are clearly banking on his return to form.
