The Miami Dolphins selected linebacker/edge rusher Trey Moore of Texas with the 130th overall pick, in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Moore, 6-foot-2, 243 pounds, started 46 games at Texas and is considered an instinctive pass rusher.

Moore had 14 sacks for UTSA in 2023. He posted 8.5 sacks in 28 games with the Longhorns.

Moore has some versatility and has experience as an edge rusher with more than one move.

The ability to rush with his hand in the ground or standing up is a huge plus as the Dolphins are in desperate need for help on the edge.

Some say Moore is a tweener. But he's a piece head coach and defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley can work with.

The Miami Dolphins selected linebacker Kyle Louis of Pittsburgh with the 138th overall pick, in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Kyle Louis, 6-foot, 228 pounds, is a playmaker built like a safety and in fact can play some box safety.

Louis can cover and can blitz. He was compared by NFL.com to former Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker.

This is another player Hafley can move around the field, who does not necessarily have to be pigeonholed. He could be inserted into a game-specific plan each and any week.
