The Los Angeles Dodgers are making another bullpen adjustment ahead of their series finale against the Atlanta Braves, sending right-hander Paul Gervase back to Triple-A. In a corresponding move, the team has selected the contract of right-hander Wyatt Mills, who will look to make his first MLB appearance in nearly four years.

To clear a spot on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-hander Edwin Díaz to the 60-day injured list. This marks the latest in a series of moves aimed at refreshing a bullpen that has been heavily taxed over the past three games, covering 18.1 of the last 24 innings.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts hinted at the change after Sunday's game, stating, "We’ll probably make another move to get another arm, so that’ll be a little more coverage as well."

Gervase, a towering 6-foot-10 right-hander, was called up Friday after Tyler Glasnow landed on the injured list. He made one relief appearance, pitching three one-run innings against the Braves on Saturday after Edgardo Henriquez exited. Acquired via trade at last season's deadline, Gervase has now made two MLB appearances for the Dodgers, striking out two batters in his 2025 debut.

Mills, meanwhile, signed a minor league contract with Los Angeles in 2025 after being released by the Boston Red Sox. He spent last season in the complex league and has opened this year in Triple-A, posting a solid 3.26 ERA with 28 strikeouts over 19.1 innings. Despite strong minor league numbers, Mills has struggled at the big-league level, holding a career 6.21 ERA across 38 appearances with the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals—his last MLB outing coming in 2022.

Now, Mills will get another chance to prove himself as the Dodgers aim to bounce back in Sunday's series finale. For a team relying on fresh arms and resilient depth, every roster shuffle counts.
