"Can't be too disheartened, even though losing the Irish Cup was tough to take," Dillon reflected. "After that disappointment, it's great having another chance at Europe. We've won our two games, and now we'll go to Linfield on Tuesday and see where it takes us."

Dillon's crucial goal in the play-off semi-final saw off Cliftonville, setting up a winner-takes-all showdown with Linfield at Windsor Park. The prize?
