Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence did his first public "Sexy Dexy" dance during the Cincinnati Bengals' NFL draft party April 23, four days after Lawrence walked onto the field at Paycor Stadium for the first time as a Bengal.

Offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa was selected by the New York Giants in round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft, with the 10th overall pick the team acquired in a trade with the Bengals for Lawrence.

The Bengals announced earlier in the week that Lawrence received Shemar Stewart's No. 97 jersey. Stewart wore the number as a rookie.

The details of Lawrence's amended contract with the Bengals were shared April 23 by ESPN's Dan Graziano, leading ESPN New York Giants reporter to tweet that Lawrence "simply wanted out from the Giants."
