The Detroit Lions have officially locked in their 2026 rookie class, signing all seven draft picks and nine undrafted free agents (UDFAs) to their first NFL contracts. The team announced the moves on Tuesday, marking a seamless transition from draft day to the start of summer workouts.
After we reported earlier that first-round pick Blake Miller was the final holdout, the Lions confirmed that the offensive tackle—and the rest of the draft class—are now under contract. Miller joins a promising group that includes second-round selections and key defensive additions, all of whom are expected to compete for roles when training camp opens.
In addition to the drafted players, Detroit added nine UDFAs to the roster. These undrafted rookies, initially tracked after the draft, bring depth and potential to positions like wide receiver, defensive back, and special teams. Keep an eye on our upcoming profiles for a closer look at each player’s background and fit with the Lions.
The team also released the initial jersey numbers for the 2026 rookie class. Here’s the breakdown by draft order:
Draft Pick Jersey Numbers
