Detroit is bringing its signature grit and style to the golf world with the unveiling of the Motor City Golf Club logo, marking a bold new chapter for the TMRW Golf League (TGL). Set to tee off as the league's seventh franchise and first expansion team in 2027, this club aims to blend the city's automotive heritage with the precision of modern golf.

The new logo, crafted in sleek dark blue and white, features a checkered-flag pattern within a circular design. The words "Motor City Golf Club" and "Detroit" wrap around the edge, creating a look that's both classic and forward-thinking. It's a nod to the city's DNA—where speed, design, and mechanical excellence drive everything forward.

Owned by Middle West Partners, an investment group that includes Detroit Lions principal owner Sheila Hamp, the club is already making moves to stand out. Team governor Michael Hamp shared his excitement: "As TGL’s first expansion team, we’re thrilled to reveal a brand that embodies Detroit and brings Motor City Golf Club to life. We wanted it to feel like home while honoring the city’s pride in design and innovation. The MCGC logo represents our history and sits uniquely among other TGL teams."

For context, TGL launched its inaugural season in January 2026 with six teams: Atlanta Drive, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club. All matches are played at the state-of-the-art SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida—a $50 million indoor facility that uses high-definition video screens and an adjustable putting surface to replicate a full-size course, seating 1,500 fans.

With a logo that channels Detroit's iconic sports legacy and a fresh take on indoor golf, Motor City Golf Club is poised to drive excitement both on and off the course. Whether you're a gear enthusiast or a fan of the game, this is one team to watch.
