Joe Burrow is wasting no time building chemistry with his Bengals weapons, even if it means taking the show to the West Coast.
While the star quarterback has been absent from voluntary workouts at Paycor Stadium recently, he's been orchestrating his own offseason training in Los Angeles—and he made sure his top targets were there with him. This week, tight end Mike Gesicki revealed that Burrow summoned him, along with star wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, for a series of throwing sessions in LA.
"Just getting the timing back, getting into it," Gesicki told Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson. "It was fun. We were talking about the excitement here and the work done by the organization. Now it's up to us to go out there and execute."
For Bengals fans, this is the kind of offseason dedication that builds championship momentum. Burrow, known for his meticulous preparation and leadership, is clearly setting the tone. When he posted "Got better" on his Instagram story after the sessions, it was a simple but powerful message.
Gesicki summed up Burrow's command of the room perfectly: "Joe is Joe. I'm always impressed working with him. Nothing new to report."
Hobson captured the dynamic best: "When Burrow reaches out looking for receivers, you go. Which is why Gesicki wasn't in New Jersey and Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins weren't on a boat Friday and Saturday."
With the Bengals' offense already one of the most dangerous in the NFL, these early reps could be the difference when the regular season kicks off. For gear that matches Burrow's work ethic, check out our collection of Bengals training apparel and performance wear.
