"I think everything is gonna be on the table, outside of trading Nikola," said Nuggets president Josh Kroenke.

The Denver Nuggets' offseason just got a whole lot more interesting. After a first-round playoff exit that nobody saw coming—least of all the team itself—Nuggets president Josh Kroenke made it crystal clear: almost everything is on the table. Almost.

"I think everything is gonna be on the table, outside of trading Nikola," Kroenke said in his postseason press conference, via Bennett Durando of the Denver Post. That's right—the reigning MVP and franchise cornerstone Nikola Jokić isn't going anywhere. Neither is head coach David Adelman, despite some fans calling for change after a rocky playoff run. "I have full faith in Coach Adelman," Kroenke added. "I think he coached a hell of a season."

But beyond those two pillars? All bets are off. This was a team that many—yes, including some pundits who are now sheepishly raising their hands—picked to reach the NBA Finals before the season tipped off. Instead, the Minnesota Timberwolves brought a level of physicality and scoring versatility that simply overwhelmed Denver, sending the Nuggets packing far earlier than expected.

Kroenke didn't mince words about the disappointment. "I don't want to be masked in my frustration for how the season ended," he said. "I think that anybody that was a fan of the Denver Nuggets should be frustrated. And anything that a fan feels, I probably feel a thousand times more."

So what does that mean for the roster? The Nuggets president hinted at a flexible approach. "If we deem running it back the most competitive thing we can do for the roster, that's probably what we're going to be doing," Kroenke explained. "We've run it aggressively as we can at different points in time. I think the joke is always, we love to pay for talent on the floor. So leaning into that assessment... if we deem that's the most competitive thing for us, then that's what we're gonna be doing."

Translation: Denver isn't afraid to spend big if it means keeping the championship window open. The easy decision is locking up Jokić with a max extension—he's eligible, and he's already said he wants to be a Nugget "forever." The harder choices involve everyone else. With the Western Conference more competitive than ever, the Nuggets will need to retool wisely. Whether that means shaking up the supporting cast or staying the course, one thing is certain: this offseason will define Denver's next chapter.
