The Denver Broncos are riding high after a stellar 2025 season, finishing with the NFL's third-best scoring defense and notching 14 wins—thanks in large part to defensive coordinator Vance Joseph's masterful game plans. That defensive dominance made them a legitimate Super Bowl contender, even if a heartbreaking ankle injury to quarterback Bo Nix derailed their playoff run.
But the Broncos aren't resting on their laurels. They've already made aggressive moves this offseason, including trading their first-round pick for star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Yet, the roster might not be finished evolving—and one current Bronco has a very specific wish for a blockbuster addition.
Edge rusher Nik Bonitto recently sat down with Zac Stevens of DNVR and opened up about the possibility of reuniting with three-time All-Pro Von Miller. "It would be pretty crazy, for sure," Bonitto said. "Obviously, everybody would love that. Not only the fans but the players. He's a guy that's loved here in Denver so much. My personal favorite player ever to watch. Just being able to share a room with him would be amazing."
Miller, now 37, is a future Hall of Famer who remains a force off the edge. Coming off a nine-sack season with the Buffalo Bills, he's shown he still has plenty of gas in the tank. A return to Denver—where he spent the first 10 seasons of his career and won Super Bowl 50 MVP—would be a storybook move for both the player and the franchise.
For a Broncos team that already boasts a top-tier defense, adding a proven pass-rusher like Miller could be the final piece to push them over the top. And for Miller, who still craves championship contention, Denver offers a perfect fit. As Bonitto put it, sharing a locker room with a legend would be "amazing"—and Broncos fans everywhere would undoubtedly agree.
