The Sanders family athletic journey continues with another chapter in Colorado. Shelomi Sanders, the youngest child of Hall of Famer and Colorado football coach Deion Sanders, is transferring to the Colorado State University Pueblo women's basketball team. The Division II ThunderWolves confirmed the guard's addition, bringing her back to the state where her father coaches, albeit about 140 miles south of Boulder.

This move marks Shelomi's fourth school since 2022. Her collegiate path began at Jackson State, followed by a stint with her father at the University of Colorado. After transferring to Alabama A&M for two seasons, she now returns to the Centennial State. While her on-court minutes have been limited in her career, she arrives with significant visibility as a 22-year-old brand influencer with a major social media following.

The family connection was front and center during her campus visit. "She made a tremendous decision," Deion Sanders said, expressing his pride. Shelomi echoed the excitement in a video, stating, "Can't wait to get started... and I'm home y'all." This move follows a previous transfer that initially disappointed her father, who had wanted his children together in Boulder.

Her arrival undoubtedly raises the profile of a CSU Pueblo program that finished 13-15 last season. For Shelomi, it represents a fresh start closer to family as she looks to carve out her own path in the game, bringing a unique blend of athletic pedigree and modern influence to the ThunderWolves' court.
