Edinburgh Rugby have secured a significant coaching addition, announcing that Brad Davies will join the club as their new defence coach this summer on a two-year deal.

The Australian arrives in the Scottish capital after a three-year tenure with Super Rugby's Queensland Reds, bringing a wealth of experience from both hemispheres to a squad looking to solidify its foundations.

Davies boasts a diverse and impressive coaching resume. He began his career in rugby league with Castleford before transitioning to union, where he spent eight formative years as a defence and skills coach at Bath. His journey also includes valuable stints at Wasps, Ospreys, London Irish, and with the Australian national team, giving him a well-rounded perspective on building a formidable defensive system.
