When DeMarcus Lawrence left the Dallas Cowboys last year to join the Seattle Seahawks, he made a bold statement: Dallas was home, but he knew he wouldn't win a Super Bowl there. Fast forward less than a year, and Lawrence was hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Seattle—a move that turned out to be nothing short of prophetic.

That championship success has become a powerful recruiting tool. Dante Fowler, who played alongside Lawrence in Dallas during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, recently found himself at a career crossroads. Seeking advice, he turned to his former teammate. The message was clear and direct: "If you want to win a Super Bowl, you should come here," Fowler shared, via the team's website.

Fowler isn't just reuniting with Lawrence, though. He'll also be working once again with Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde, who coached him in both Dallas and Atlanta. But it's Lawrence's story that really sealed the deal for Fowler.

"It was amazing, just to be able to play with him for the past couple of years," Fowler said. "The legacy he left, when he left, it was a big thing, and to see him come here and see how great he played—he was very healthy, he took this defense to another level, and he won a Super Bowl, something that he has been talking about since I met him. So it was really cool to watch him in that position."

Winning back-to-back titles is never easy, but if the Seahawks can pull it off again, don't be surprised if more players start making the jump from Dallas to Seattle, chasing the same championship dreams that Lawrence turned into reality.
