Dana White is gearing up to promote another massive boxing showdown for the second year in a row. The UFC CEO made his boxing debut last September by promoting the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight, and he hasn't slowed down since. He's also launched Zuffa Boxing, which has already hosted several smaller events at the UFC Apex.

The news broke while White was in Newark, New Jersey, ahead of UFC 328. After a chaotic press conference moment where Khamzat Chimaev kicked Sean Strickland, White headed to a local cigar bar to unwind. There, he joined MMA influencer Nina Drama for an hour-long livestream on KICK. During the chat, White casually revealed that he'll be promoting what's expected to be the biggest boxing match of 2026: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua.

"This is the busiest year of my career. I'm gonna be traveling everywhere," White said. "I'm focused on Zuffa Boxing hardcore this year, signing all these guys and putting on great fights. We did a deal with Sky in the UK. There will be great fights on Sky."

Eddie Hearn, who has guided Joshua's career since he turned pro in 2013, is unlikely to be thrilled about White taking the lead on this mega fight. Hearn's connection extended to Conor Benn as well, until Benn made the switch to Zuffa Boxing earlier this year. Turki Alalshikh, who owns the rights to the Fury vs. Joshua Netflix super fight, often brings in multiple high-profile promoters like White and Hearn to handle different aspects of his events. It's not yet confirmed whether Hearn has signed off on White handling promotion duties for Joshua's next bout.

This fight is shaping up to be a blockbuster, and with White's track record, fans can expect plenty of hype and drama leading up to the big night.
