
Apr. 22—MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University men's basketball is sponsoring several summer camps and clinics in June and July.
An elite camp will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 at the Christen Family Athletic Center on the DWU campus. The cost is $60 per participant and open to all high school basketball players in the 2027 through 2030 high school graduating classes.
DWU will hold its boys basketball team camp on Monday, July 13 at the DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Complex. The camp is open to varsity and junior varsity teams, with each team guaranteed three games. The cost is $250 for one team or $425 for two teams.
Additional single-day individual camps are scheduled for mid-July. A K-12 shooting camp from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, a day camp on Wednesday, July 15 for grades K-8 and a competition camp from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 16 for grades 3-12. Those camps will be held at the DWU/Avera Sports Complex.
