It is fair to say that Cowboys' COO Stephen Jones has grand aspirations for the offense in 2026.

The Dallas Cowboys' offense is ready to make some serious noise in 2026, and according to team COO Stephen Jones, the sky's the limit for Dak Prescott and company.

While much of the offseason chatter has centered on Christian Parker's revamped defense—especially after the 2025 struggles under Matt Eberflus and the addition of rookie safety Caleb Downs—Jones wants everyone to remember the firepower on the other side of the ball.

"Dak Prescott, obviously, we feel like he's one of the best, if not the best, quarterback in the league," Jones told Mad Dog Sports Radio. "Then you surround him with a running game, surround him with the weapons CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, the deep receiver core we have, great tight end room, the offensive line group is strong."

Coming off a Pro Bowl season, Prescott has plenty of playmakers to work with. The receiving corps features All-Pro CeeDee Lamb and explosive newcomer George Pickens, while tight end Jake Ferguson provides a reliable safety valve. But the real game-changer might be the ground game.

After years of struggling to establish a consistent rushing attack, the Cowboys finally found their answer in Javonte Williams. The bruising back racked up 1,201 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, giving the offense a balanced dimension it had been missing. His return in 2026 only strengthens a unit that already ranked among the league's best.

Under head coach and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, the Cowboys' offense took a major leap forward in 2025. Jones believes the best is yet to come. "We feel like the pieces are in place for that offense to only get better, certainly coach Schottenheimer is one of the top offensive minds in this league."

With a potent mix of veteran leadership, explosive playmakers, and a finally-reliable running game, Dallas looks poised to evolve from a top-five offense into the NFL's most feared attack. The defense may be grabbing headlines, but don't sleep on the monster that's been building on the other side of the ball.
