The chase began steadily through Sanju Samson and skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. But after Samson fell to Digvesh Rathi while attempting a pull shot, Urvil took complete control. He targeted Avesh Khan for three sixes in a single over, then unleashed on Rathi with three more maximums and a four. The defining moment came when he smashed Mohammed Shami over long-on for his seventh six, moving to 48 off just 11 balls.

After reaching his fifty, Urvil pulled out a paper slip from his pocket that read, "This is for you, Dad," with lines written in Gujarati. The Chepauk faithful responded with chants of "Urvil! The win pushed CSK to fifth on the points table while pushing LSG closer to elimination.
