Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur says half-back Brodie Croft's future is down to him amid interest from the NFL.

The ball is in Brodie Croft's court—literally and figuratively. Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur has made it clear that the star half-back's future at the club is entirely up to him, as the 28-year-old Australian faces a career-defining decision amid growing interest from the NFL and NRL.

Croft, who currently leads the Super League with an impressive 13 tries in just 10 games this season, is out of contract at Headingley at the end of the campaign. The 2022 Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel winner has been turning heads with his electric form, but his next move remains uncertain.

"The club has done everything they can," Arthur told BBC Radio Leeds, emphasizing that sporting director Ian Blease has been in ongoing talks with Croft's management. "There was an understanding of when we'd try to get near a decision."

Arthur acknowledged the outside interest but stressed Croft's value to the team. "He's had interest from Australia, but the conversations I've had with Brodie, he understands what the club has done for him and he understands the position he plays in our team. His good form is based on the back of a lot of what the team is doing."

Still, the coach left no doubt about the bottom line. "All his indications are to me that if he remains in England, that Leeds is his club. It'll come down to Brodie now."

Croft's numbers tell the story of a player hitting his stride. After scoring 15 tries in 51 appearances over his first two seasons with the Rhinos, he's already matched nearly that total in half the games this year. Arthur attributes the surge to a smarter approach to the game. "He's picking his times of when to get involved in the game. His touches are down from last year, and that's what we wanted. We wanted more quality than quantity."

For Leeds fans, the message is simple: Croft knows where the door is, and the choice is his alone. Whether he stays in the blue and amber or takes his talents elsewhere, one thing is certain—this is a decision that could reshape the Super League landscape.
