Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is already looking ahead to Week 1, when Indianapolis hosts Dallas. And he knows exactly where his younger brother, Cowboys rookie safety Caleb Downs, will be lining up. "He told me if he goes to the Cowboys, he's playing nickel," Josh said with a grin. "So that's head-to-head, all game."

The trash talk has already begun. Josh, a third-round pick out of North Carolina in 2023, has quietly built a solid NFL résumé with 198 catches, 2,140 yards, and 11 touchdowns over three seasons. But when he reminded Caleb that they'd be facing off this year, the younger Downs got "all hyped." Josh, ever the older brother, was quick to set the tone: "I gotta let him know he's the little brother in the situation."

Caleb, meanwhile, entered the league as the top-rated safety in his draft class and a consensus top overall prospect. Expected to be a leader on a revamped Dallas defense from Day 1, he'll likely see plenty of snaps in the slot—right where his big brother operates.
