The Indianapolis Colts are heading back across the Atlantic for the second consecutive year, marking a historic first for the franchise. This time, they'll face the Washington Commanders in London on October 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as announced by the NFL on Wednesday.

This international trip replaces what would have been a standard road game, giving Colts fans a unique opportunity to see their team play in one of the United Kingdom's most iconic soccer venues. It's the franchise's first visit to London since a 2016 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.

Interestingly, the United Kingdom isn't among the countries where the Colts hold global marketing rights—those belong to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. That explains why their last two international games were in Frankfurt, where they beat the New England Patriots in 2023 and the Atlanta Falcons in overtime in 2025, thanks to a standout performance from running back Jonathan Taylor.

While the Colts lost their first-ever regular-season game overseas, head coach Shane Steichen has a perfect 2-0 record in international matchups. With this London game already on the calendar, the full 2026 schedule drops Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, giving fans plenty to look forward to as they gear up for another exciting season—and maybe a new travel-friendly jersey to wear across the pond.
