According to Spotrac, linebacker West Weeks earned $284,500 in guaranteed money to join the Colts. This figure stands as the third-highest among all reported UDFA signings league-wide, trailing only Utah edge rusher Logan Fano, who received $310,000 guaranteed from the Cleveland Browns.

Weeks, who enjoyed his first season as a starter in 2025, impressed scouts with his blitzing prowess. Over 564 snaps, he generated 13 pressures and three sacks, while recording 66 tackles (with 11 misses). In coverage, he limited opponents to just 9.1 yards per catch—a solid mark for a linebacker stepping up to the professional level.

The Colts' linebacker room received a boost during the draft with the additions of CJ Allen and Bryce Boettcher. However, the depth behind projected starters like Akeem Davis-Giather remains uncertain. Austin Ajiake and Jaylon Carlies are early favorites for the fourth and fifth roster spots, but Weeks could shake up the competition with a strong training camp performance. This group, while talented, still carries a relatively inexperienced profile for Indianapolis.

Edge rusher Mitchell Melton, who signed from Virginia, secured $130,000 in guaranteed money—the second-highest among the team's undrafted additions.
