We already know some things regarding the Colts upcoming 2026 regular season schedule unveil. What are they again?

The NFL is set to unveil its full 2026 schedule on Thursday, May 14th at 8 PM EST, airing on NFL Network, ESPN2, and NFL+. While fans will have to wait for the exact dates and times, we already know which teams the Colts will face and where those games will take place.

As part of the league's rotating schedule, Indianapolis will take on the AFC North and NFC East this season, in addition to their standard home-and-home matchups within the AFC South. This means six games against division rivals Houston, Tennessee, and Jacksonville, plus four more against the likes of Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh from the AFC North, and Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, and the New York Giants from the NFC East.

Thanks to a third-place finish in the AFC South during the 2025 season, the Colts also draw some favorable crossover opponents. They'll host the Miami Dolphins (third in the AFC East) at Lucas Oil Stadium, while traveling to face the Kansas City Chiefs (third in the AFC West) and the Minnesota Vikings (third in the NFC North).

According to CBS Sports' John Breech, Indianapolis currently boasts the fourth-easiest strength of schedule in the NFL, based on opponents' combined 2025 record of 134-154-1 (.465). That's a promising outlook for Colts fans, though it's worth noting that teams like Baltimore, Kansas City, and the New York Giants could be significantly better in 2026 after offseason upgrades.

Within the AFC South, the Colts don't have a massive scheduling advantage. The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans rank seventh and eighth, respectively, in easiest strength of schedule—meaning the division race could be tighter than the numbers suggest. With the schedule drop just days away, it's time to start circling those must-watch matchups.
