The Colorado Eagles are one win away from advancing to the Pacific Division Finals after a commanding 4-0 shutout victory over the Henderson Silver Knights in Game Three. With this win, the Eagles have taken a 2-1 series lead, and they did it in style—dominating from the opening faceoff to the final buzzer.

From the start, Colorado controlled the tempo, outshooting Henderson 13-7 in the first period. Both teams struggled on the power play, each going 0-for-1, but the Eagles made their even-strength chances count. The real fireworks came in the second period, where Colorado put on a clinic in two-way hockey. Not only did they limit the Silver Knights to just three shots, but they turned their own 11 shots into three goals—a remarkable display of efficiency. Defenseman Alex Gagne opened the scoring, followed by forwards Tye Felhaber and Tristen Nielsen, giving the Eagles a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the final frame.

Henderson came out with renewed energy in the third period, outshooting Colorado 10-3 in a desperate attempt to claw back into the game. But Eagles goaltender Trent Miner was impenetrable, stopping all 20 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs. On the other end, AHL All-Star Carl Lindbom turned aside 21 of 24 shots for a .875 save percentage, but it wasn't enough to slow down the Eagles' relentless attack.

For Colorado, this win is a statement—their defense is stifling, their offense is clicking, and Miner is proving to be a wall between the pipes. With Game Four on the horizon, the Eagles have a golden opportunity to close out the series and punch their ticket to the next round. Henderson, meanwhile, will need to find answers quickly if they hope to keep their playoff hopes alive.
