For years, the Marauders have been a fixture in the Class 1A state championship conversation, but the 2025 season ended with an unfamiliar sting. For the first time since 2021, CCC watched the title games from home, falling in the region final to Carrollwood Day.

That early exit has fueled the program all offseason. "It's crazy when you finish a season 10-3 and it was a down year," head coach Chris Harvey remarked during the team's first spring practice. The disappointment of falling short of their championship standard has been a powerful motivator, creating a palpable hunger to return to form.

As the Marauders hit the turf this spring, they're navigating some early absences but are focused on rebuilding. Key players like promising 2027 cornerback Daveon Belhomme and dynamic 2028 receiver Luke Wilson are working their way back, while the team integrates a new wave of talent.
