While details are still surfacing about Kansas City's deal with Cleveland, speculation about the Chiefs' potential interest in a trade up had been circulating in the build-up to the Annual Player Selection Meeting.
In the end, Kansas City moved up from No. 9 to No. 6 for what is expected to be a modest package of draft picks.
