Allen joins a wide receiver room that is seeking more explosive plays down the field. He is known for this ability and could be someone who can change a game.

Allen’s impressive acceleration and top-end speed help him separate from defenders regularly. He’s a standout on go routes and slot fades while displaying adequate hands. His elusiveness after the catch may have caught the Chiefs’ attention, as he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Last season, Allen was named Second-team All-Big 12 Conference and led Cincinnati with 51 receptions and 674 receiving yards. He tied for third in the FBS with 13 receiving touchdowns, setting a school single-season record. He started all 13 games in 2025.
