Kansas City Chiefs fans have spoken, and the verdict is in: wide receiver is the most likely position to produce a roster-worthy undrafted free agent (UDFA) this season. According to the latest SB Nation Reacts survey, the majority of Chiefs fans believe that one of the team's 20-plus UDFA signings will earn a spot on the 53-man roster—and the wide receiver room is the clear favorite to deliver.

After the draft, the Chiefs added a flurry of undrafted talent, including three tryout players who were signed to contracts. The wide receiver group, in particular, has drawn attention for its potential to make an immediate impact. Among the names generating buzz are Caldwell, De Jesus, and Evans, with fans comparing their athleticism to some of the league's best. As one fan put it, "Caldwell, De Jesus, Evans = Calvin 'Megatron' Johnson Jr." While that might be a stretch, the optimism is real.

Several Arrowhead Pride users have weighed in on why wide receiver stands out. One fan noted, "Caldwell would probably make it to the PS since he wasn’t drafted, but I think he makes the team anyway. There’s no other big body WR behind Thornton. Andy has a way of scheming for limited players as long as they’re athletic, see: Hardman. I think Caldwell could see playing time early on screens and in the red zone."

Another fan highlighted the competition at safety, but ultimately gave the edge to the receivers: "I think Safety and WR are neck and neck for this UDFA free for all. I think Singleton and Nwamkpa can contribute to this room early on if they need to, but so can Caldwell as a KR."

Reporters have also taken notice. Both Jessie Newell and Matt Derrick have given shoutouts to UDFA linebacker Loyd, while team reporter Matt McMullen praised him during rookie camp. But when it comes to the wide receivers, the buzz is hard to ignore—especially around Caldwell, who has drawn comparisons to past fan favorites like Justyn Ross.

Of course, Chiefs fans know better than to get too carried away. One commenter wisely cautioned: "It will be interesting to see Caldwell in camp. I know, we all fell for the Justyn Ross hype. Justyn Ross had his best college season with Trevor Lawrence, Justyn Ross had major medical concerns, the list goes on and on." Still, the hope is that Caldwell can develop under the team's coaching staff and go from "raw and athletic" to a meaningful contributor—even if it takes time.

As training camp heats up, all eyes will be on these undrafted rookies. Will a wide receiver crack the final roster? Chiefs fans are betting on it.
